Round-robin meme

RULES: Each player of this game starts off with 12 weird things or habits about yourself. People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 12 weird habits/things as well as state this rule clearly. At the end you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names.

1. I procrastinate. A lot.
2. Though I've been fannish about many shows, only rarely do I ever actively get involved with the associated fandoms.
3. I love my dissertation: researching it, writing it. It's one of the most stressful things I've got on my plate right now, but it's also the most exciting.
4. I give myself pedicures when I need to brainstorm.
5. I collect vintage movie posters.
6. My flatmate and I often IM each other for hours on end, even though we're both in the flat at the same time and, as such, only a few feet away from each other.
7. Before I buy a book, I always read the fifty-seventh page to get a feel for the author's style; I feel it'll tell me whether the book's going to be any good or not.
8. I love to plan parties, and I'm good at it, but I hate to clean up afterwards.
9. I've never taken a perfectly composed photograph in my life, much to my frustration. The angle's always a little bit off, or the picture's out of focus; it's always something.
10. I feel like I haven't read a good non-genre fiction book in a reeeeally long time.
11. Movie reviewing would be my ideal job: watch movies and snark about them. all the while getting paid for it.
12. I, for one, can believe it's not real butter.*

* I think precisely two people are going to know the significance of that. :)
