iPod shuffle question

askmehowHelp me, o all-powerful f-list!
I recently got an iPod shuffle for my birthday, and while I am completely in love with it, there's also something that frustrates me. Every time I try and fill it, I add some podcasts at the top of the playlist, the iPod syncs up with iTunes and adds them, but never in the order that I want! They're all out of order, and this is a huge problem, as I'm listening to an audiobook in podcast format: Part 3 always comes before Part 2, etc. etc. It's very distracting!
Has anyone else ever had this problem? If so, what did you do to fix it, or is it simply something I have to live with?
